Session Overview

From Paper to Platform: Lessons from Large-Scale Contract Digitisation
The journey from legacy contracts to digital intelligence is rarely straightforward. This session draws on real-world experience from ingesting and digitising thousands of contracts, uncovering what it truly takes to transform static legal documents into structured, searchable, and analytics-ready data.
Whether you’re planning a CLM implementation, exploring AI in contract review, or struggling with legacy document clean-up, this session will equip you with practical frameworks, lessons learned, and an actionable understanding of what digital readiness really means for your contracts.
Three Tangible Learnings
1. The most common pain points in large-scale contract ingestion, from inconsistent templates to missing metadata.
2. The intersection of technology and human legal oversight in ensuring data accuracy and contextual interpretation.
3. Why contract ingestion is not just an operational task, but a strategic enabler of automation, compliance, and governance.
